Artist's Bio
My name is Jo Ann Sewell, I am married, have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Twenty-one years ago my husband and I moved to Harrison from Springfield, Missouri. While we lived there I started painting and eventually began teaching others to paint also. My medium then was oils, but I now prefer acrylics primarily doing landscapes and still life. I also find that watercolors are relaxing and like to do that occasionally. I now paint with the “Art and Soul” group that meets every Tuesday and hope to be painting for many more years.
