Artist's Bio
Rita Szabo has lived in the Ozarks for 38 years. As a creative photographer for the past 24 years, she has enjoyed photographing all over the States as well as five other countries. Although she loves traveling, her heart and home is the Ozarks and it's beauty gives her inspiration and a bond with nature.
Rita’s studio/lodge is The Buffalo River Art and Nature Lodge. Over 4000 sq. ft., the lodge sleeps 17, with 6 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, and a large meeting/game room. Each room is a work of art, which includes murals, painted furniture, and over 130 of her photographs. She is creating murals with an unusual technique of combining photographs and paintings. The lodge emphasizes “Being Green “ and is pet friendly. It is FUN for all who appreciate art in any form.

From Harrison: Hwy 7 South. 8 miles to 7s. Take 7s up the hill past the Hub. (Old Dog Patch parking lot) It’s the long building on the left before the Marble Falls Post Office.
